2/6/16 – News Release: Aggravated Assault
On 2-6-16 at approximately 1600 hrs, the College Station Police Department had a complainant come into the lobby to report a possible aggravated assault, in which he claimed a deadly weapon was presented by a known person. The victim said that the suspect was still at the residence where the assault had occurred. Officers were able to meet with the suspect and Officers were able to speak to two witnesses who at an event out of town, but said that they had been on scene at the time of the assault.
The witnesses advised that they had been there and separated the suspect and the victim from each other at the time of the incident and that neither had seen nor heard mention of any weapons being involved. The suspect also denied having any weapon or threatening to use any weapon during the incident.
The victim nor the suspect sustained any significant injuries and refused medical treatment at the scenes. Due to the variety of statements given concerning this incident, no arrests were made as of today.
