Tuesday, Aug. 21 Drawing for order of candidates on ballot, City Secretary's office: 9 a.m.
  
Friday, Aug. 24 Last day to file as write-in candidate.
  
Monday, Aug. 27 Last day for candidate to withdraw and have name removed from ballot. 
  
Friday, Sept. 7 First day to accept applications from voter for voting by mail ballot.
  
Tuesday, Oct. 9 Last day to submit voter registration application to Brazos Co. Voter Registrar.
First report due of campaign and expenditures by opposed
candidates and specific purpose committees.
  
Friday, Oct. 19 Last day to accept applications in person for voting by mail ballot.
  
Monday, Oct. 22 First day for early voting by personal appearance.
  
Monday, Oct. 29 Second report due of campaign and expenditures by opposed candidates and specifice purpose committees.
  
Tuesday, Oct. 30 Last day to receive application by mail for a ballot to be voted by mail.
  
Friday, Nov. 2 Last day for early voting by personal appearance.
  
Tuesday, Nov. 6 Election Day, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  
Nov. 14 - 19 Period for official canvass of election.
