College Station Parks and Recreation Department and the College Station Independent School District (CSISD) have joined together to offer a new recreational learning experience for the entire community. "Xtra Education", a new leisure learning adventure has over 220 exciting classes to offer.
Our educational programs include such classes as Dance, Business, Arts & Crafts, Culinary Arts, Music & Voice, Languages, Self-Improvement, Fitness, Computers, Special Interest, Sports - Swimming, Tennis, Life Enhancement, Outdoors, and Kid's Enrichment Classes.
There is continuous programming throughout the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons with most classes held in CSISD facilities. Annual participation is approximately 3,000.
