REGISTRATION | Aug. 26- Sept. 6
FEE | $60 per child.
GRADE LIMIT | League is limited to girls attending 5th– 8th Grades. Grades entering Fall 2013-2014 school year.
SEASON | Practices begins Monday, Sept. 16 and games begin on Monday, Sept. 30. The season will last from approximately Sept. 16- Nov. 20.
LEAGUE FORMAT | 8-game, round robin format. Players are guaranteed to play at least half the match. There are two divisions: 5-6th grade and 7-8th grade. Awards will be given to all participants.
LOCATION | All practices and games will be held at the College Station Middle School
, A&M Consolidated Middle School
and/or Lincoln Recreation Center
. Your games and practices may vary between the three facilities.
NIGHTS OF PLAY | Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Games will be held primarily on Mondays and Wednesdays and practices will be held primarily on Saturdays, except the first two weeks of the season when all the days will be used for practices. Games and practices are usually about one hour in length and Saturday practices are usually held between the hours of 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. You will receive a mixture of times.
GAME TIMES | Games will be 6:15, 7:15 and 8:15 p.m.
PLAYING TIME | Our philosophy for this program is to provide a recreational activity that allows your child to participate in at least half of the match, and to learn the fundamentals of volleyball.
CONTACT INFORMATION | Your child’s coach will be given a roster of the players on her team. The coaches will then call and tell you when the first practice will be held. A list of all practices, games, and a team roster will be available at that first practice. The coaches should be calling team members Sept. 9-13. If you have not been contacted by Sept. 13 please call the Parks & Recreation Office at 979.764.3486.

VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED
This is a chance for you to enjoy the experience of team sports with your child, as well as teach others what team sports are all about. With your help and dedication, we can make this a positive experience for each child in the program. Please sign up if you know the game of volleyball and are interested in teaching the game. Experience is not needed if you only want to be an assistant coach. Background checks will be performed.
