Chapter 3, Section 3.6 - International Building Code adopted (A)(13)
This ordinance provides addressing requirements for both commercial and residential properties. All commercial structures shall have street numbers on the face of the building and on any rear door. Residential properties are required to have numbers are on both sides of the mailbox or on a free standing structure.
UDO, Article 6.5 - Accessory Uses (C)
There are several types of legal home occupations. These include occupations that do not interfere with traffic flow, change the appearance of the dwelling, create a nuisance or be visible from the street. UDO, Article 7.5 - Signs
The following signs are prohibited by this ordinance: portable and trailer, temporary freestanding, off-premise signage or rooftop signs. Inflated signs, banners, pennants, wind driven devices, tethered balloons and any gas filled object are restricted. Junk Motor Vehicles
Chapter 10, Section 5 - Junked Motor Vehicles
a. vehicle that is self-propelled; and
b. does not have lawfully affixed to it either; an unexpired license plate; or a valid motor vehicle safety inspection certificate; and
c. is: 1) wrecked, dismantled, partially dismantled, or discarded, or 2) inoperable and has remained inoperable for more than 72 consecutive hours, if the vehicle is on public property; or 30 consecutive days, if the vehicle is on private property.

Any number of related persons, or not more than four persons, any one of whom is unrelated to another, living as a single housekeeping unit. Persons are related within the meaning of this definition if they are related by the second degree of consanguinity, affinity, legal guardianship, or qualified under chapter 123 of the Human Resources Code.

A person commits an offense if he allows the open storage of commodities and materials for sale, lease, inventory or private use in areas zoned as residential.
Parking in the Yard
Chapter 10, Section 6 - Parking, Standing or Storing of Recreational Vehicles, Trailers or Trucks in Residential Areas (b)(3 & 4)
It shall be unlawful for the owner, occupant or person in charge of property used for residential purposes to permit the parking, standing or storing of motor vehicles, excluding recreational vehicles on yards or lawns excluding driveways, paved parking areas, or areas screened from public view by fencing.
Property Maintenance Code
Chapter 3, Section 6 - International Building Code adopted
This chapter includes concerns about exterior and interior maintenance requirements. The property maintenance codes are adopted from the 2015 International Property Maintenance Code, referenced in Chapter 3 of the Code of Ordinances.

Containers shall be removed from the designated pickup point and placed either adjacent to their dwelling or at a location designated by the City within twelve (12) hours of their scheduled pickup day.

Chapter 7, Section 1 - Stagnant Water, Trash, Weeds, and Other Vegetation Prohibited (C)
This ordinance refers to objectionable or unsightly vegetation including weeds and grass that exceed 12" in height.
